Sports Medicine: Not Just for Athletes
You don't have to be an athlete to see a sports medicine physician. Anyone experiencing muscle or joint pain, soreness, loss of motion or weakness is a candidate for treatment.
Sports medicine is the entry point for any patient who wants to move comfortably and relieve pain. Our sports medicine experts are trained to diagnose, manage, rehabilitate and prevent further injuries and disease to get you back to your everyday activities.
Continuum of Care
Up to 80-90% of patients won't need surgery to improve muscle or joint pain and injury. Seeing a board-certified sports medicine physician should be your first step to recovery. We will diagnose the cause of your symptoms and, together with our physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons, build a treatment plan just for you.
We partner with schools across Hendricks and Putnam counties to bring a dedicated team of athletic trainers, sports medicine physicians, physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons to our student athletes. Our sports medicine physicians offer expert assessments of a wide array of sports related injuries.
Our orthopedics team is skilled in diagnosing and healing shoulder, knee, hand, foot, ankle, back and hip injuries. They work closely with our sports medicine specialists to treat patients who may need further testing, joint replacement surgery, non-surgical procedures and more.
Our rehabilitation services team includes physical and occupational therapists who work with our sports medicine physicians to promote healing, relieve pain, restore motion and help patients achieve daily comfort, ease and independence during their journey to recovery.
Our board-certified sports dietitian will work with you to customize a strategy that meets your specific goals. We apply the science of sports nutrition to create a plan that delivers optimum benefits to help you safely reach your highest potential.
