OB/GYN Services At Every Stage of Life
Our trusted health partners provide OB-GYN services to support women's
reproductive health needs. This includes preventable and ongoing care for
all gynecological issues, major and minor surgery, routine and high-risk
pregnancy, infertility evaluation, hormonal changes, basic treatment and
more. Have you scheduled your annual well-woman exam yet this year?
We want your experience to be as magical as you've dreamed it would be.
Our goal for you is always a healthy pregnancy, birth and post-pregnancy.
Our caring staff gives comprehensive, family-focused care to support both
you and baby from conception to infancy and beyond. We also offer
breastfeeding guides and postpartum support groups for new moms.
Midlife is a time of transition. We're here to help you stay your
healthiest at every age. From hot flashes to hormonal changes, Hendricks
Regional Health supports all aspects of midlife health — including
perimenopause, menopause, pelvic discomfort, sexual dysfunction, uterine
fibroids, heart disease and osteoporosis,
colonoscopies and
mammograms, and more.
Preventative & Diagnostic Care
Mammogram screenings are vital to breast cancer detection and prevention.
They help physicians monitor breast abnormalities and identify signs of
cancer early, when it is most treatable. From advanced 3D digital
mammography to MRIs and ultrasounds, discover our unparalleled breast
imaging services, treatment, surgery options and support.
As we age, our bones become fragile. Our Center for Breast and Bone Health
offers DEXA bone density testing to diagnose osteoporosis and to determine
fracture risk in the spine, pelvis, lower arm and thigh. By detecting bone
loss early, we can begin treatment to minimize the devastating effects of
osteoporosis and take steps to prevent further loss.
Pelvic floor disorders affect nearly one in three women, and become more
common with age. Our therapists and physicians are specially trained to
treat women's pelvic disorders. Whether it's pelvic floor dysfunction,
urinary tract infection (UTIs), incontinence or vaginal discomfort, we're
dedicated to helping you effectively manage the frustrating and sometimes
painful symptoms these conditions can cause.
Heart disease is now the leading cause of death for women in the U.S.
Knowing the early warning signs of a heart attack can make the difference
when it comes to saving someone’s life. In more than 50 percent of
heart attack situations, the patient will exhibit early symptoms —
so you have to know what to look for. We offer complete
cardiovascular care, including Chest Pain Center Accreditation, to detect and treat such conditions as heart disease,
stroke and heart attack. Our life-saving heart scans provide women with a
quick, effective way to take preventative action. Together we can beat the
odds against women and heart disease.
Wellness & Support
Our award-winning therapy team treats a number of disorders specific to
women, including pelvic pain, incontinence, bowel disorders, pregnancy
pain or special laboring needs, lymphedema, orthopedic and joint
replacement therapy, or issues that arise from breast and other cancer
treatments.
Eating healthy is a lifelong commitment — and between busy schedules and food temptations, we understand it's not always easy to do. Our registered dietitians will help you stay informed and motivated in order to reach and maintain your wellness goals.
Whether it's coping with the loss of a loved one, fighting breast cancer,
breastfeeding or experiencing postpartum depression, we provide a safe
space for women to talk, learn and share their feelings with professionals
and fellow participants. All meetings are free and registration is not
required.
Through the course of your life, you'll experience many changes —
physically, emotionally and mentally. We offer a library of helpful
quizzes and reads to guide you through these changes and answer any
questions along the way. Always remember that your physician is the best
resource.
