Visiting Information

Visitor Guidelines as of January 19, 2023:

SCREENING GUIDELINES
For the safety of everyone in our facilities, Hendricks Regional Health is requesting that visitors not needing medical care, do not enter our facilities if you have any of the following:
  • Symptoms of COVID-19
  • A positive COVID test in the last 10 days
  • Unmasked exposure to a COVID positive person in the last 5 days

MASK REQUIREMENT
Effective January 19, 2023, masks are welcome in Hendricks Regional Health facilities, but not required unless you have:
  • A known respiratory illness
  • Symptoms of a viral illness
  • A known close contact and/or high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19.
Please feel free to request that your healthcare provider wear a mask.

VISITATION RESTRICTIONS
Patients are allowed two visitors in most hospital areas.
Visitors must be 18 years of age or older.
We ask that patients limit their visitors to the same two people each day.

VISITING HOURS
ICU

Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closed 6-7 p.m. for rounding)

Medical Unit
Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Surgery Unit
Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

enMotion Recovery Care
Daily at any time. 

Childbirth Center
Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (quiet time encouraged from 2 to 4 p.m.) 

Pediatric Unit
Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

COVID-positive visitors are not allowed. We will continue to allow visitation to COVID-positive patients. Everyone visiting a COVID-positive patient (or someone awaiting test results to rule out COVID) must wear full PPE and check in at the nurses' station prior to visiting.
