Ryan Van Donselaar, DO Chief Medical Officer

Ryan Van Donselaar, DO, was named Chief Medical Officer at Hendricks Regional Health in July 2023. Dr. Van Donselaar grew up in Muncie where his family’s pediatrician inspired him to pursue a healthcare career. He earned his medical degree and met his wife, Laurie Van Donselaar, DO, an OB/GYN with Westside Physicians for Women, at Des Moines University. He joined our adult hospitalist team in July of 2013 and was named Hospitalist Director in 2020. In addition, Dr. Van Donselaar has held positions of increasing responsibility in medical affairs, including chair of the Ancillary P&T committee and serving as a key member of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Van Donselaar and his wife live in Brownsburg with their three children.
