Our benefit plans have been designed using associate input along with marketing trends. We offer an exceptionally competitive benefits package, including health, dental and vision, and a very supportive environment to help you live your best life. All of our offerings:

Health Insurance

This includes a comprehensive medical plan which provides copay and coinsurance structure, prescription drug copay and wellness initiatives. We offer both a PPO and High Deductible option with a robust associate formulary available at no additional out-of-pocket cost. Coverage is available to full-time and part-time (scheduled at least 48 hours bi-weekly) associates and is effective upon employment.

Dental Insurance

Examples of plan features include 100% coverage for preventative dental care such as cleanings, x-rays, sealants, fluoride and screening for oral cancer. More major services, such as fillings and crowns, are covered at either 80 or 50% after the network discount.

Vision Insurance

We offer VSP as our vision coverage provider because they offer rich benefits at the lowest out-of-pocket costs for our associates. As the largest vision network in the United States, VSP has an expansive network of providers to choose from. Our VSP plan features minimal out-of-pocket costs for vision exams and supplies (eyeglasses and/or contacts).

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts are a great way for you to be reimbursed for eligible out-of-pocket health and dependent care expenses. These accounts help increase your take-home pay by letting you pay for those expenses with pre-tax dollars.

We know our associates have a life outside of the hospital. That’s why we offer generous paid time off benefits, including holiday, sick and vacation, to encourage our associates to relax, refresh and spend time with friends and family.

Retirement Savings Plan & Support

Helping our associates plan and prepare for an active, financially sound retirement is a key way we show our associates they are valued. The Hendricks retirement savings program, through EMPOWER Retirement Services, includes a 403(b) account with matching opportunities. Associates have free access to retirement planning tools along with expert advice to help you build a retirement savings strategy.

Tuition Reimbursement

Ongoing learning is always encouraged at Hendricks. Full-time associates are reimbursed at 100%, up to 6 credit hours per semester, and part-time associates working at least 48 hours per pay period are reimbursed at 50%, up to 6 credit hours per semester. Associates may apply for tuition reimbursement up to three semesters per year (total of 18 credit hours per year).

Innovative Health Programs

Our programs include offerings such as on-site fitness classes and a low-cost fitness center for employees and their spouses. Our associates are encouraged to participate in free annual health risk assessments and biometric screenings, adult-immunization programs as well as wellness-coaching services. Healthy menu options are featured in the Copper Grill dining facility.
