Dining for Patients & Guests

Hendricks Regional Health Danville offers several dining options for patients, guests and vistors:

The Copper Grill
The newly opened Copper Grill offers a variety of dining options for our guests. It is located in the lower level of the hospital's northwest expansion (enter at the northwest entrance and take the stairs or elevator down). Hours are 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Hot meal service:
Breakfast
7 to 9 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (weekends and holidays)

Dinner 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The Terrace
The Terrace café is located near the emergency entrance at Hendricks Regional Health Danville. The menu includes Starbucks coffee and a variety of sandwiches, salads and wraps made fresh daily. The Terrace is open from 6:30 a.m. until 8:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Room Service Dining for Patients
With "At Your Service " room service dining, patients can order a variety of meals made-to-order ranging from breakfast selections, salads, deli sandwiches and grill items to our “standard favorites” entrees such as mac n’ cheese, meatloaf and desserts. All meals are made when ordered and delivered directly to the patient’s room.

Patients are not asked to place menu selections the day before. Instead, they can order when they are hungry by contacting the room service call center. Meals typically are delivered within 45 minutes.

Trained staff take orders by telephone, making sure selections meet a patient's dietary needs. We offer specialty menus as well, including a pediatric menu designed especially for our littlest patients.

"At Your Service" also offers guest menus for family members and friends who are staying or visiting. Cost is $5 for breakfast and $10 for lunch.

What If A Patient Cannot Place Her/His Own Order?
We understand that some of our patients need assistance to place their meal orders. Loved ones can help by pre-ordering a patient’s meal. Just follow this procedure:

Dial extension 86300 from inside the hospital or (317) 718-6300 from outside the hospital.

Advanced meal orders can be placed at the following times:
9 to 10:30 a.m.
2 to 4 p.m.
7 to 8:30 p.m.

These times are for advanced meal ordering only. If you are assisting a patient at his or her meal time, you may call during the times listed on the At Your Service menu and the meal will be delivered within 45 minutes. When calling, indicate to the call Center Specialist that you are calling to place an advance meal order. Provide the patient’s name, room number, meal selections and meal/time you would like this delivered. If you need additional assistance or information, ask to speak to a Registered Dietitian. If you would like to order multiple meals in advance, call the numbers provided above and our Room Service Specialists can provide a written tool to assist you in this process. Please note: a change in the patient’s diet order may modify their meal selection options.
