Biography
Dr. Kumar serves our pediatric cardiology patients at the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent's. He received a medical degree from Patna Medical College, Bihar, India. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and its sub-board of Pediatric Cardiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Kumar completed a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship both in Canada and the University of Florida, Gainesville. He served for six years as a faculty member in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Texas, Galveston and has published many articles on the genetics of various congenital heart defects and other related areas of pediatric cardiology.
