Tuesday, March 25, 2014

Board Chair Joe Neher and Executive Director Sue Bogan recently presented a ceremonial check of $107,250 from Hendricks Regional Health Foundation to Deb Case, Director of the Childbirth Center, and Kevin Speer, President & CEO at Hendricks Regional Health. The funds represent a portion of proceeds of more than $240,000 from the Foundation’s 2013 fundraising efforts that included a special campaign to purchase five infant warmers for the special care nursery at the Danville hospital.

“We are pleased to present Hendricks Regional Health and families served by our medical professionals with this impressive gift. In addition to the funds directed to purchase these high-tech infant warmers to help care for our youngest patients, $108,000 was provided to other  programs and services that improve patient comfort, safety and medical care, including funds for health services for people in need, safe patient handling equipment, resuscitation training manikins, and Women’s Center services. We also directed $25,000 to our growing endowment fund,” said Foundation Board Chair Joe Neher. “The Foundation’s Board of Directors works very hard to ensure that funded projects have direct impact on patients. Supporting the mission of Hendricks Regional Health and the individuals it serves is our goal.”
