Hendricks Regional Health offers endoscopy services aimed at evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon and the pancreatic system.

An endoscopy involves a doctor using an endoscope (a flexible, lighted tube) to examine the inside of the body through the patient’s mouth or anus. There are many types of endoscopy procedures. Some of the more common ones include colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, upper gastrointestinal (UGI), gastroscopy and enteroscopy.

Endoscopy procedures are performed at our Danville Campus and the Hibbeln Surgery Center, located at our Avon Campus.
