Dr. Yvonne Culpepper has been a leader in healthcare for over 40 years. She has served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Hendricks Regional Health since 1990 and Chief Operations Office since July 2014. Yvonne is a graduate of Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration. She completed her Doctor of Nursing practice degree from Purdue University.
Prior to joining Hendricks, Yvonne worked at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She participates in many organizations and currently serves as an advisory board member of the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA. Yvonne is also an advisory board member for the University of Indianapolis School of Nursing and Marian University School of Nursing. She has held leadership positions in the community, including Central President and State President for the Indiana Organization of Nurse Leaders. Yvonne is currently active with the Indiana Center of Nursing, American Nurses Association, Indiana Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She supports Leadership Hendricks County and is a graduate of the Class of 1995.
Yvonne and her husband, Allen, have lived in Hendricks County for over 40 years where they raised their three children and now have four grandchildren. She is an active member of St. Malachy Church.
