Michael Kirschner, Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Practice Management Officer, is responsible for expanding Hendricks Regional Health's base of high-quality outpatient physician practices through new service lines and markets along with managing the healthcare system’s Immediate Care Centers. In addition, he oversees population health contracting with third party payers.
He has 40 years of health care experience through his time with a managed care organization, private multi-specialty physician group and consulting. Michael has a deep understanding of the relationships between payers, employers, providers and patients and concentrates on developing alignment between the constituencies.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and is a CPA (inactive). He is also a member of Give Kids The World, a nonprofit in Florida for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
