Fee: $40.00
For first-time parents, this two-day series provides an overview of equipment and medications that may be used during birth as well as teaches coping skills to use during labor and birth. Please register as close to or by week 20 of your pregnancy, to take your classes around your 35th week of pregnancy. This class meets for two evenings. The dates listed are the FIRST class in a series. The second date will be Thursday of the SAME week. A tour of the CBC is included in the class. You will be registered for BOTH classes with this registration. There is no need to register a coach or partner. 2 people are automatically registered for this class. There is a charge of $40 fee per couple. All prenatal classes meet in the Childbirth Center classroom on the 3rd floor of the hospital. For easiest access, park in the designated “yellow” zone and enter through the Emergency Entrance. Proceed past the first bank of elevators, turn left and go past the gift shop. Find elevator “D” on your right and take it to floor 3.
