The Hendricks Regional Health chaplaincy department responds to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families, as well as our staff and the local religious community, to fulfill the hospital mission of spiritual care as part of our quality services. A chaplain is in the hospital every weekday, and a chaplain or volunteer chaplain is on call to minister to your emergency needs at all other times.

Hendricks Regional Health staff members are happy to request a chaplain on behalf of patients and their families; patients may also request a visit with a chaplain upon their admission to the hospital. 

The McKnight Chapel

The McKnight Chapel is available for individual meditation and prayer for persons of all religions. The chapel is located on the first floor of Hendricks Regional Health's Danville medical campus, just north of the main lobby. Please ask at the information desk for exact directions.

For Visiting Clergy

Members of the local clergy are a valuable part of the healing team at Hendricks Regional Health and are always welcome. Staff chaplains visit patients, families and staff Monday through Friday, as well as limited hours on weekends. We encourage visiting clergy to ask the information desk to contact the hospital operator if you would like to arrange to speak with one of our staff chaplains about pastoral concerns.

Our chaplaincy and pastoral care staff facilitate grief support groups and cancer support groups for the community. The public is welcome to join us. Learn more.
