Biography
Rheumatologists are specialists who diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases, such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, scleroderma, bursitis and other auto-immune disorders involving pain in the musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Illinois and completed her medical training at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Johnson has worked for the past several years in private practice in Southfield, Michigan.
Dr. Johnson is board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
