Oncology Infusion Center

For many patients with a cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy is a recommended part of their treatment plan. Patients in our community who need chemotherapy can receive their medication at the Hendricks Oncology Infusion Center, provided through a unique partnership between Hendricks Regional Health and the oncologists of American Health Network.

The Hendricks Oncology Infusion Center is located in Building 3 at our Danville Campus. Its convenient location adjacent to the hospital provides easy access to many outpatient services including lab and radiology. Families can even take advantage of the Cancer Resource Center, just a short walk away in the main hospital facility. The Cancer Resource Center offers resources like literature, a computer with printer for cancer research, and a private room for reading or watching a DVD.

The Hendricks Oncology Infusion Center team consists of American Health Network board-certified oncologists and a nursing team boasting Magnet Accreditation and our Treat People Better philosophy. Nurses in the Center are also chemotherapy-certified, and some are board-certified oncology nurses.

A Hendricks Regional Health pharmacist is on hand in the Center to support the medical specialists and nursing staff. Everyone works together to make sure patients are comfortable during their visit, and have the education they need to easier manage their treatment, side effects, and more.

The Hendricks Oncology Infusion Center team also collaborates with other hospital departments to enhance cancer care at Hendricks Regional Health.

Hendricks Regional Health is approved with commendation from the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer for programs that provide state-of-the-art evaluation, treatment and follow-up to cancer patients, and are committed to quality improvement. We offer a full continuum of cancer services in the western suburbs of Indianapolis.
