Fee: $40.00
The accelerated labor class is for on-the-go expectant parents who need a weekend one day class. It combines our 2-week childbirth series into a one day fast-track class. Some of the topics discussed are stages of labor, coping skills for labor, pain medications, epidurals, and hospital routines. A tour is included in this class. Please get plenty of rest the night before this class and wear comfortable clothing. There is a $40.00 fee per couple.
All prenatal classes meet in the Childbirth Center classroom on the 3rd floor of the hospital. For easiest access, park in the designated “yellow” zone and enter through the Emergency Entrance. Proceed past the first bank of elevators, turn left and go past the gift shop. Find elevator “D” on your right and take it to floor 3.
