Hendricks Regional Health, Avon Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Avon are partnering to host a weekly farmer’s market in Avon. The Avon Farmer's Market will be held in the south parking lot at
Hendricks Regional Health Avon, 8244 E. US 36, on Tuesdays, from 3 to 6 p.m.,
June 8 through September 28.
“We’re excited to be hosting the Avon Farmer's Market again this year to promote local, fresh foods and good nutrition in the community,” says Martha Rardin, director of nutrition & dietetics at Hendricks Regional Health. “A diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the best things you can do for your body to maintain good health.”
Shoppers can choose from: breads, candies, dessert items, flowers, fruits, jellies, jewelry, kettle corn, meats, mosaic artwork, plants, quilts, scarves, skin products, vegetables.
